We all have a personal brand

Whether you’re aware of it or not, you already have a personal brand

Your logo + your website are not your personal brand ❌
They are the visual expression of your personal brand ✅

Who you are, what you say, what you believe in, who you talk to, how you talk, and where you talk to them, all these elements add up to your personal brand and contribute to your reputation. So you want to make sure you are in control, you don’t want your dream clients to have misconceptions about you and the great work you can do for them, right?

Here are the 5 elements you need to get clear about for a compelling personal brand:

For each of them, I’ve prepared a couple of questions to ask yourself.

#1 Your personality and story aka your uniqueness

First of all, you need to realize that one important point that is: YOU ARE UNIQUE. We all are.

There is only one you in the entire world

So the questions are:

Who are you? What defines you? What are your strong points? How do people feel about you?

What’s your story like? how does your uniqueness express itself in your story?

Knowing what defines you brings you closer to being your most powerful

#2 Your values and point of view

What are the values you live by? what matters for you? What do you believe in? There’s a lot of noise out there. Everyone has something to say, everyone wants to change the world, and many people also say the same thing.

So the questions are:

What have you got to say? what’s your core message? Is your point of view compelling and strong enough?

This has to be something you strongly believe in and you’ll be ready to stand out in front of an assembly and affirm it.

#3 Your mission, your WHY?

People don’t buy what you do, they buy why you do it

and what you do simply proves what you believe.

Simon Sinek

So the questions are:

What’s your mission like? What is your big vision? how do you want to contribute?

Last but not least why do you do what you’re doing? What drives you? What’s in your guts?

#4 Your audience

You have a big heart, great intentions, and aspirations for the world. You know you can help change your clients’ lives for the better. But you can’t please everyone? or serve everyone, can you?

You can’t please everyone. Not everyone will like and trust you, and it’s OK.

Having a strong, compelling personal brand means being selective.

So the questions are:

Who do you choose to serve? Who do you choose to talk to?

#5 Your presence

Once you have a clear picture of the above, it’s time to show up, stand out and connect with your audience, get to know them and like them. In doing so, consistently, not only will they learn to know and like as well, but they will also inevitably start to trust you in your ability to help them.

Let your presence be known stop being the best-kept secret in your field, get out there, make an impact and start changing lives like you know you can.

So the questions are :

Where are my dream clients? on which platform? Where can I start the conversation?

Where can I share my vision, point of view, big message? Where can I share a bit more about me to start nurturing the know-like-trust factor?
